Charles “Chuck” L. Williams, age 77, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at the Isabella County Medical Care Facility with his family by his side. Chuck was born on July 6, 1938 in Atchison, Kansas, the son of Raymond and Thelma Wilson Williams.
Chuck served as a Seaman in the US Navy during the Vietnam era serving on the USS Randolph and had lived in Mt. Pleasant for over 25 years. He worked eleven years for Air Canada and 21 years for Princess Cruise Lines. Chuck enjoyed watching his nieces and nephews and especially watching old movies.
Graveside memorial services will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Mt. Pleasant on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Isabella County Medical Care Facility. Envelopes are available at the Rowley Funeral Home.
Chuck is survived by his sisters and their spouses, Linda and Dick Cameron of Lake Isabella and Joyce and Ron Colvin of Ruskin, Florida; three nieces, Rhonda McLaughlin of the Detroit area, Kelly and Lynn Bunker of Midland, and Kerrie and Doug McCallister of Tennessee formerly of Canadian Lakes; three great nieces, four great nephews, and one great great nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, step father, and great niece, Sara.
